The areas own independent theatre, with 9 cinema screens, 3D projectors and Dolby Digital 7.1. The cinema has an overall capacity of 1600 and is the perfect place to get your film fix! There’s currently a Starbucks, Mcdonalds, KFC, Taco Bell, Children’s Indoor Play Gym, Fitness Centre and Outlet store all next door, so you can make an afternoon of it!

Docks Beers
Founded in 2017, The Axholme Brewing Co. created craft beer company Docks Beers. The first-class Brewery-Pub combo is situated close to Grimsby Docks and Grimsby Town centre, and is a must visit for any fans of high-quality, craft beer.

People’s Park
A beautiful, urban park. Grade II listed but also exceptionally maintained and compassionately updated. It boasts a lake, small café and modern outdoor play area. Gifted to Grimsby by the Duke of Norfolk and opened in 1883, People’s Park layout remains largely unaltered since that time.

Grimsby Golf Club
Fans of the game can head on to Grimsby golf club. Actually, situated directly adjacent to the Humber Royal – so fairly convenient – the course, established in 1922, is set into 123 acres of mature, rolling parkland and was designed by the renowned course designer, Harry Colt.

If you’re looking for a spectacular night in front of top-notch thespians, without the exorbitant ticket prices, then take a look at Grimsby Auditorium. They have a regular line up of some of the best touring stage productions in the UK as well as Comedy shows and Musicians.

Weelsby Woods
Another stunning, sprawling park and woods that trails from the border of Grimsby and Cleethorpes right into the countryside of Waltham. Weelsby Woods has its own café and ice-cream bar in the summer, play facilities, dedicated picnic areas and wood trails. Fred Parkes donated the estate to ‘the People of Grimsby, in 1950, decreed for use as a public space ‘for ever’.

EBB & FLO is a family-run, lifestyle business, located on the North Promenade of Cleethorpes. Whether you’re interested in learning to Stand Up Paddleboard, kayak, or simply get out and explore on a hire session, EBB & FLO is the place to go! There website states, “Our goal is to promote physical and mental well-being whilst minimising the environmental impact in all our products, activities and experiences.”

The Signal Box Inn
One of the most interesting curiosities of the area is the Singal Box Inn, officially known as the World’s Smallest Pub. But size isn’t everything so don’t be fooled. Almost TARDIS-like in its choice of cask ales, bitter, spirits, wines and around 20 different ciders available at any one time., you’ll be spoilt for choice! Just across the road is the Meridian Point Craft Centre, the Cleethorpes Light Railway and Meridian Park Open Air entertainment venue. We weren’t joking when we said there’s a heck of a lot crammed into one small place!
