Humber Royal Hotel wins Hotel of the Year Award
The Bespoke Hotels 5th annual ‘Be Awards’ were held at the Couldson Manor on Monday, 3rd June 2013.
Both guests and employees of Bespoke Hotels were invited to submit their nominees across the five categories. Following receipt of these suggestions, a 6-strong panel consisting of senior management figures from within the company consulted amongst themselves before deciding on the winners.
In line with the commitment to promoting and rewarding good service they announced the winner of the ‘Hotel of the Year 2013’ as the Humber Royal in East Lincolnshire.
There were 8 nominees for the ‘Hotel of the Year’ awards and the criteria for judging was the financial performance, customer satisfaction, employee commitment and overall the positive attitude working towards achieving consistent standards across the board, from bedroom cleanliness, food and overall experience and all the team members played their part. Anne Bennett, General Manager collected the award on the hotel’s behalf and couldn’t wait to share the news with the team.
Anne comment ‘this award recognised the hard work and commitment of all the team members and their contribution to the continued success of the hotel. This will really help us strive to keep growing and exceeding guests expectations where ever possible. It’s a great feeling to receive recognition for a job well done.’
Robin Sheppard, Chairman of the 97 property-strong Bespoke Group, said: “We take pride in the ingenuity, hard work and resourcefulness of our team members. This awards ceremony is our way of saying thanks in a big and heartfelt way.”
The black tie event is held every year to celebrate the efforts and achievements of the Bespoke personnel who’ve performed exceptionally during the preceding 12 months.
